Voter Registration 

To be eligible to vote in the November 8, 2016 election, you must register to vote by October 24, 2016, at least 15 days prior to the election date. Voter registration applications are available in the City Clerk's office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or you may register online at www.ocvote.com.


You must Re-register if:

  • You move
  • You change your name
  • You change your Political Party Affiliation

Where do I vote?

Your polling place will be listed on the back page of the Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet which will be mailed to you approximately three weeks before the election by the Orange County Registrar of Voters.

Election Results

Unofficial Results will be available throughout Election Night, beginning at approximately 8:05 p.m. and continuing until all precinct ballots have been tallied. Results may also be obtained by calling the Orange County Registrar of Voters office at (714) 567-7600 or by visiting their website at OC VOTE.


 

You May Register to Vote in California if:

  • You are a United States citizen,
  • You are a resident of California,
  • You are 18 years of age or older on Election Day,
  • You are not in prison or on parole for a felony conviction,
  • You have not been found to be mentally incompetent by court of law.
